Inspiration (and dream skatecation): CAPC Museum of Contemporary Art’s Mini ramp. Just another reason to love France. Bordeaux has built (for the second time… I believe) one of the longest mini ramps ever made. It is part of an art installation dedicated to Michel Majerus. It is open to the public to skate for the duration of the installation.

People we like: Jessica and Cole. We sent some recycled skateboard cuff links out for Cole’s prom and he sent back a few pictures of him with his beautiful date Jessica. He asked her to prom with his skateboards and now he is wearing skateboards on his sleeves and a gorgeous girl on his arm.

Inspiration: Luka and Matej Peljhan. This was a little project I thought just needed to be shared with the world. Matej Pelijhan’s series of images of Luka are so stunning and very sweet. Luka suffers from muscular dystrophy and is confined to a wheel chair. Matej himself suffered injuries at age ten that left him missing an eye and an arm. But together they are adventures in his photo series “Little Prince.” No go be happy for today.

Inspiration: The bike stash and the woodgrain helmet! Ooh its a picnic on the go!! Easy to take for lunching at any place. I found this on dtail.com today and couldn’t help to share. Since we make all our products out of recycled skateboards we have an obvious love for wood detailing in other’s work. Our good friend Paul Sykes makes lovely wooden bike fenders. Looks like these items would work well with one of his pieces!!

People we like: Skate After School. About three years ago our good friend Tim had the idea to start an after school skate program in AZ. Now the program has grown, nearly a hundred completes have been donated and it is going to be a nonprofit!! Thanks for the hard work. We like Tim.
